A new telephone number, a fresh project photograph or a new service: your website should be able to keep up. You can return to the same designer for help with changes.
Small changes
Minor alterations may be provided free of charge, depending on the request and the work involved. Send the details first and we will confirm whether a charge applies.
Larger updates
New pages, design changes and additional functionality are assessed separately. You receive a price and an estimated timescale before any paid work starts.
Ongoing maintenance and priority support are separate services, agreed individually. Support availability and response times are confirmed when you get in touch.

Do I need to have everything ready before we start?
You will need to supply your business information, text, logo and photographs. We explain what is needed for each page. If you need full copywriting or help sourcing images, this can be quoted separately.
Are domain and hosting included?
No. Both are purchased separately. Existing services can be used where suitable, or StepOnline can help you choose an appropriate setup.
What happens if I want changes?
Two rounds of revisions are included within the agreed scope. Additional pages, a different structure or new features are quoted separately. After launch, minor changes may be free following assessment; more substantial work is quoted before it begins.
How is the delivery date agreed?
The estimated timeline is confirmed after reviewing your requirements and the content needed. Delays in receiving materials, feedback or access may affect the launch date. Any changes to the schedule are discussed with you.
Will the website guarantee enquiries or Google rankings?
No. The website is designed to present your business clearly and make contact easy. Enquiries also depend on your offer, reputation and the visitors reaching the site. The local SEO package is an initial setup, not a ranking guarantee.
Is this an online shop?
These packages are for business websites that present services and generate enquiries. Shopping baskets, online payments and product catalogues require a separate e-commerce scope.
